How to add photos to your designs in PosterMyWall
Photos are an essential part of any design, so knowing your options for uploading photos is crucial. In the PosterMyWall editor, there’s plenty of ways to find and use photos in your designs. Watch the above video, or read this blog post to learn more:
Add stock photos
Add stock photos by heading over to the PosterMyWall editor. Then:
- Click the ‘Photo’ button on the left selection bar.
- Click ‘Add Stock Photo’.
- Type your search keyword in the search box, such as ‘man’, ‘school supplies’, etc.
- Browse through the search results, and double click your preferred photos to add to your design.
You can pick from stock graphic libraries by GettyImages, Pixabay and Storyblocks.
Note: Images with GettyImages stock graphics contain a large watermark if downloaded free and if you’re on the Premium or Premium Plus plan, the high-res download will cost 1 Credit (3 if your design is a video).
Add from your photos
Add your own photos by heading over to the PosterMyWall editor. Then:
- Click the ‘Photo’ button on the left selection bar.
- Click ‘Add from My Photos’
- Click the ‘Upload Photos’ button to upload photos on your device.
- Once uploaded, your photo will be added to the design.
Uploaded photos are saved in your photo collection, which can be accessed in your photos library. The photos library can be accessed by clicking the ‘Add from My Photos’ button. This saves you the hassle of re-uploading photos on the website.
Add from Google Drive
You can also add photos saved in your Google Drive. Here’s how:
- Click the ‘Photo’ button on the left selection bar.
- Click ‘Add from Google Drive’.
- A browser window will pop-up with the login page to your Google account.
- Log in to your Google account.
- Once logged in, pick a photo from your Drive, and click the ‘Select’ button to confirm your selection.
Your photo will be added to your design.
Congratulations, you have now uploaded photos to your design. Select your photos and experiment with the various editing tools on the right selection menu. You can add tints, filters, add contrast, change brightness, crop and so much more.
