Adding a tint

Add a light colored tint to your graphic items to add a thematic twist. You can also use tint to conveniently change the color of white colored clipart and shapes. To add a tint:

  • Select an image
  • In the right contextual menu, click the ‘Tint’ toggle under the ‘Effects’ tab.
  • Use the color picker to select a color for your tint.
  • Change the opacity to suit your needs. Decrease the opacity if you’re looking for a more subtle result.

Using multiply

Similar to tint, you can use multiply to add a color overlay to your design. You can use multiply on top of a tint effect on your image to create a color combination. To add multiply:

  • Select an image
  • In the right contextual menu, click the ‘Multiply’ toggle right below the ‘Tint’ toggle.
  • Use the color picker to select a color for your tint.
  • Change the opacity to suit your needs. Increase the opacity for a more intense result. Opacity is set to 0 by default.
  • And that’s everything you need to know about using color overlays. Happy designing!
