Finding fonts made easy: Introducing the new font selector

Finding fonts just became easier. Use the new font selector to search for fonts and browse various typefaces according to your requirement.

You asked, and we delivered! The font selector in the PosterMyWall editor has just undergone some big changes. And we think you’ll like what you see.

Choose from hundreds of font options easily

For starters, all font options that used to appear in a dropdown menu will now be available in the right sidebar of the editor. This will give you more room to experiment with different fonts and sizes without the menu inhibiting your view of your design. This means you’ll be able to make a better estimate of what font goes well with your design.

Find the font you’re looking for

In the right sidebar, you’ll also be able to browse through all the font styles and see the one that suits your needs. Select any plain text box and click the ‘Font’ box on the right sidebar to get started.

If you’re looking for a specific font, you’ll be able to search for it using the search bar at the top.

Search for a font by category

That’s not all! You can now also search for fonts based on category. Let’s say you’re making a serious poster laying out the details of a business seminar. You’ll obviously need a no-nonsense font to go with it. We’ll narrow down the options for you by showing you professional fonts in one category. This will make it easier for you to sift through the options and find the font style that’s right for you.

Similarly, if you’re a clothing store looking to advertise your latest sale, you’ll probably want a more playful and exciting font. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. With various categories like “Fancy”, “Techno”, and “Holiday”, it’ll take you no time to find something that fits your needs.

You can pick your font by clicking on a font style and browsing through the available fonts in that category as shown below.

Once you’ve picked out a font style, you can customize its size, color, alignment, spacing, background, and more straight from the editor.
